These are the best high rise 501 shorts I’ve found! A slight bit of stretch and the perfect length, not too short. Love!!!

Ordered 1 size up my normal 28 . 29 fit like a 27 . Runs very small and shorter than how it looks on the model.

They do not have the distressed threading across the front of the thigh like it shows. They are normal jean shorts with no distress to them and some fraying on the edges. They are button up which isn’t exactly clear in the description. Like I said, the first picture of these shorts that is shown is not what they actually look like. I also tried them on and they were not too tight, but the front of the left leg immediately split up the middle. I still wore them because I spent so much on them, but the split is about 2 inches long now. The ends of the frays are not sealed, so it will likely continue to split. I hope that I can get a refund

I read the reviews and they were very mixed with too small/too large. I decided to just order my normal size (6/28) and they were very small! Could not meet the buttons so going to order up a few sizes and see if they work. Material has no stretch so these would probably be a no if you love stretch jean.

Cute, but not for me. I really wanted to like these. The fringe at the bottom is super stylish, and the washed color is really nice. I just didn’t expect these to be as short as they were. I ordered my normal size (26) and it fit okay in the booty area, but a little large in the waist. That’s okay as I usually have that issue with high waisted bottoms, I was prepared to get them taken in if I liked them, but they were super short, like booty shorts. My butt was nearly sticking out the bottom. Granted, I have a curvier butt, and your mileage may vary. But for me, the shortness combined with the complete lack of stretchiness made it very uncomfortable. When I sat down in these, my thighs noticeably spilled out from the top. Additionally, the annoyingness of trying to button up the 5 buttons, which I didn’t think would bother me, but they are hard to button!
They look great in the mirror though. Maybe if I were 18 I could make it work.

Cute. High rise and pretty short but they make the butt look good. After I lose some quarantine weight I think they’ll fit perfect. 5’6 130 and I sized up to a 28.

I bought the lady gray in size 26, which is what I typically wear in Levi’s shorts. I love the color of the denim, which is prettier and has more variation in person. They do not have a cool frayed hem, but all you have to is wash them once and that will develop. They have a tiny bit of stretch (99% cotton, 1% elastase), which makes them very comfortable. They are way more comfortable than my 100% cotton (no stretch) Levi’s Eat Your Words shorts, which are tight when walking or sitting. Anyhow, these are great and the price is well worth it!

The Luxor color ran small for me so definitely size up! Other than that, they seem really cute (when I was able to look past not getting them buttoned). I ended up sizing 2 up. I’m sure ordering one size up would have been fine, but it would’ve been snug for me. They weren’t short on me and FYI I am almost 5’3. They are a decent length, but they aren’t something that I would consider midi length, they are still considered a short length, def upper mid thigh length. Cute though!!

Flattering shorts on a petite hourglass. They fit true to size. I normally wear a size 4 sometimes a 6 in brands and the 27 fits perfectly. The 3 inch inseam gives enough coverage so your bum is not out but let’s you show off your legs. Modest but really flattering shorts. The grey is a beautiful shade in person as well. The waist is just the right height. Wonderful shorts.

Good: the material and quality of the shorts are good, exactly what I have come to expect
Bad: the sizing and fit were way off. Even with sizing up, the waist was so tight I felt like I was about to be bisected. The fit created (sorry to be gross) a pronounced camel toe. I feel the “high rise” is way higher than other high rise jeans I’ve purchased

These shorts are so small in size it’s ridiculous. If you have a butt or hips forget these shorts!!! I wear a 31 usually (depending on shorts), I ordered two sizes up and they still do not fit comfortably. If you do not have wide hips like I do, these are a great alternative to the expensive agolde shorts. The style is great and I like the button fly. Sadly going back because they don’t even remotely fit.

I ordered this in the white color. The description says 100% cotton, however they are not. They do have some stretch. With that said they fit bigger. The style is very cute though.
