Odd thing about Levis: every pair is different. I ordered one pair of these 724s that were great. So I immediately ordered another one. Not so great. They were a darker color and used a fabric that was much more stretchy, almost like jeggings. Sure enough, the fabric content was different from the ones I had ordered a week earlier. But Zappos product description did not reflect the difference so I had no way to tell until I got them. So beware ordering Levis, even from Zappos.

I got the lightweight denim I was looking for! Stretchy enough so they give but don’t bag. Love the high waist as I like to wear cropped tops & sweaters but don’t want to show any stomach skin (I’m over 60). These are actually long enough for my 5’9″ frame! I haven’t washed ’em yet, but I have another pair & machine wash them in cold water, dryer on lower heat setting & they come out fitting snug, but limber up/stretch out quickly.

I love my Levi’s 728 skinny jeans but I wanted something looser on my leg for summer and these are perfect! Yes, they are straight leg, but they are a “slim” straight. Just loose enough so that the calves aren’t tight. I’m 5’6″, 115lb and I love the fit of size 27. Plus I have long legs so the inseam is great for me. The fabric is “lighter” than my 728s which is fine since I wanted these for summer.

Love these so much I got a second pair in a different wash! I wanted a looser jean (in the leg, i.e. calf) for summer and these are PERFECT. The inseam is great for me as I have long legs.

Love these jeans. A little stretch but not so much that they sag by the end of the day.

This review is for the color “lookout point” only! Fit great, very comfortable. I liked them so much I ordered another pair in a different color and couldn’t even get them zipped up, they were so tight. Quite a difference between super comfortable and unwearable for the exact same size and style. I really love these in the “lookout point” color though.

I bought this pair of 724s in the In The Groove color. I’m a Levi’s fan and am well-acquainted with how they fit and how they can sometimes fit inconsistently. However, these fit exactly as I wanted them to, with a bit of room in the leg for a more relaxed fit. I also like this color and this fabric very well; light enough for slightly warmer weather, yet fine for a cool evening. Strongly considering buying another color!

The fit 29″ waist and length is perfect. Originally bought ankle length (which I don’t like) 29″ at Nordstrom who charge $98. Upon learning that Zappos had the same jean in full length for half the price, I bought it and returned the first item to Nordstrom. When ordering, be sure the material content and country of origin is what you want. Those things are important to get the fit you want. And, color makes a difference too!

Each pair of Levi jeans fits a little differently but these are a good fit.

As a devoted Levi’s customer I hoped that these jeans would be as described. But I also know how much their products vary between identical items.
These Levi’s are neither straight leg nor jean material. I measured the leg and they are a full inch narrower than my standard straight Levi’s. These are skinnies and the right leg is defective with the seam twisted to the front. I’m only keeping them since I need black pants and I cannot wait for the exchange mailing process. They are a rich black color and a ribcage high waist otherwise I’d return these for poor quality. Disappointed.

Best fitting jeans I’ve ever had.

Five stars for the Carbon Glow and 2 stars for the Slate Morning. Overall, these jeans are fantastic. They’re very comfortable; the higher waist is flattering; they have a classic straight leg cut that is slightly slimmer than usual straight leg cuts, which I like; they’re true to size, form fitting, flattering on the butt, very fitted but don’t look painted on, soft, and very stretchy while still holding their shape through multiple wearings. The denim is a medium weight and I feel like they will last much longer than some of the thinner denim fabrics sold by other manufacturers. The problem is quality control. The Carbon Glow was perfect so I ordered the Slate Morning, but the inner left leg seam was so twisted that from the knee down, the seam ran almost centered down the front of my leg. I really like these jeans, so I tried FOUR (4!!) different pair in the Slate Morning from different sources and ALL of them had the same issue, some worse than others. Hopefully, the defect is limited to a particular batch and size. I ordered the 27 with a 30″ inseam. If you like the Slate Blue, and if that’s your size, avoid them unless you don’t mind the lower left leg seam going down the FRONT of your lower leg. For reference, I’m 5’3″, 125 lbs, 28″ waist and 36″ hips and the 27 (size 4) fit perfectly. Also note that the different colors have different fabric content, so the fit may not always be the same and the feel of the fabric will differ as well. The Slate Morning was softer and had more stretch than the Carbon Glow. I preferred the CG, but like the fit of the 724 style enough to be okay with the SM had I been able to find a pair with a straight seam.

I ordered a pair of Levi Original Straight Leg and these 724 High-Rise Straight, same size. The 724 isn’t the same size in the waist. Much tighter and little to no stretch. The waist is no higher than the Originals and the leg is no slimmer. So I opted for the Originals. I don’t know why Levi can’t standardize their sizing and fabric. You can order the same jeans but a different color and the fabric/fit will be totally different. Very aggravating.

Go by the measure from the chart. I wear sz 8. Or 30, in jeans. I got these in 32, perfect! So they run small

Fit and size OK. However, black dyed “denim” looks like black dyed plastic, which it is if you look at fabric content. Also smells like “plastic”. Yay for Zappos which makes trying on everything so easy.

I am always a size 6. The 29W 30L fit perfectly! The wash and higher waist is exactly what I wanted. Will order again.

These jeans are perfect! I purchased a pair last year in a department store and was worried these might not be exactly the same. In the reviews of Levi’s you see that often just a different color results in a different material so I was worried about that. I actually bought two colors in the store and one of them was so stretchy they were like leggings. I seldom wear them. However, these jeans in the Chelsea Pier color, are not like leggings. They are like jeans! Perfect! I immediately ordered another pair!

I thought these were pretty comfortable but after finding that the front pockets are super shallow (as in, I wasn’t able to get my hand deep enough past my knuckles), these are being promptly returned. Give.Women.Normal.Sized.Pockets!!

Nice fit. I like that it’s a slimmer straight leg (some are so boxy). Flattering fit I think, even for pear-shape. I do think women’s Levis run slightly smaller than some jeans. My only complaint is the description said Carbon glow color was 92% cotton, which is the main reason I got them. And they’re actually only 71% cotton. But I’m keeping them. Worth $50 for sure!
Dani –
Levi’s has very consistent sizing so I know exactly what I’m getting when I order jeans. Fit TTS as long as you know your preferred inseam and regular waist size.

Very comfortable – just about 2 inches too long. My fault for not checking the length before ordering.
ALW –
Love them overall, but they stretch out quite a bit. I wish I sized down in them, so don’t make my mistake. Size down and they’ll be perfect — don’t be discouraged if they feel a bit snug at first, they streeetch.
Annette –
These fit more like mid-rise than high-rise, hitting several inches below my waist. The 30″ length seems to have an unusually short rise, like they were proportioned for a petite figure, rather than just shorter legs. The back pulled up at the crotch giving me a wedgie, even though the fit in the hips and waist was fine. They would probably work for someone with a small/flat butt. I didn’t like how shallow the front pockets were; at only 2.5″ they were practically non-functional. The leg opening on the size 30 is 7″, front rise 10.5″, back rise 14.5″. For reference, I am 5’4″, 138 lbs, 29/30″ waist and 39/40″ hips and ordered the size 30. The waist and hips fit perfect, so ordering a larger size would not fix the short rise issue.

My fave cut of jean has always been high-rise cigarette which became unpopular when the skinny cut came out. I never wore the skinny because it made me look too thin. The Levi’s high-rise straight is pretty close to the cigarette cut, so I’m very happy with them

I did not realize that each of these jeans is a different style. I ordered the color chelsea hour without realizing that they came with a frayed hem and I am a bit too old to run around wearing that! Levis is the best jean out there, though – best fitting and certainly best price.
